O.I.R.P. is composed of Vik Laugo (visual artist & music producer) and Eva Laugo (visual artist)
WHEN WAS OI RESEARCH BORN?
Vik: O.I.R.P. Truly came to existence when Eva and I got married and acquired the magniflux frequency generator. It brought weird and unexplainable things that left us no choice but to try and make sense of it through our God-given abilities which are visual art and music.
WHAT IS OI?
Vik & Eva: O.I. Research Partners is a group of professionals passionately collecting, archiving and translating data from other worlds/time/dimensions, with the goal to learn and discover more about our own.
WHAT DOES O and I STAND FOR?
Eva: Haha it can mean many things 😄 can be 0 and 1 or OI
IN OTHER WORDS... O.pen to I.nterpretation? 🤔😜
Eva: Haha yes para mystery😄
WHAT IS ZERO? (referring to the name of their current album)
Vik: Zero is many things. It is for all to decide what zero is. For me, zero is selfishness.
Eva: Zero is the inexplicable emptiness in different kinds of creatures.
WHAT KIND OF RESEARCH DO YOU DO?
Vik & Eva: Any research that involves time travel and human behavior.
ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR FINDINGS?
Vik: Surprisingly, NO.
Eva: No, but I am not surprised.
WHERE HAVE YOU EXPLORED?
Vik: As of now we have been to four different realities including ours. And it is rapidly expanding.
Eva: All the artifacts we gathered were from a single site in a barren farmland where crops won’t grow. Many pieces are from a different civilizations that occurred within a single time period. Can there be different dimensions in a single time ?

WHAT OR WHERE IS YOUR DREAM EXPLORATION PROJECT?
Vik: An album about hope.
Eva: To discover a utopia that lasted.
WHICH CAME FIRST? THE RESEARCH OR THE BAND?
Vik: Both! As all of you may know, we started as a two-man wrecking crew. But of course it’s always fun to be working with honest associates and friends.
Eva: Chicken and egg situation. I must agree our associates are fabulous.
WHERE IS YOUR BAND PLAYING IN THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE?
Vik: In a place with an audience that truly appreciates (& pays for) art.
Eva: Parañaque is next.
